Denver criminal records are divided among the Denver Police Department, Denver Sheriff Department, two separate court systems, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, the Colorado Department of Corrections, and the Colorado Sex Offender Registry. This private reference site organizes those official routes so readers can identify the proper portal, counter, mailing address, or phone line for the record they need.

Why We Built This Site

Colorado offers several public access routes, but Denver's consolidated city-county government creates an unusual split. The Denver Sheriff Department holds jail and custody records, while Denver Police keeps arrest and incident reports. The state-run Denver District Court and city-run Denver County Court maintain different case files. CBI supplies statewide criminal-history checks and the registry, while CDOC tracks state custody. We bring the verified contacts, fees, search fields, and request steps for those offices together in one Denver-focused resource.

An official copy must come from its custodian, such as DPD, DSD, a Denver court, or CBI. This site only identifies the proper route.
