Need an Official Record?
Use the custodian that matches the Denver record:
- Court case files: see criminal court case records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case
- State criminal history: use the Colorado Bureau of Investigation ICHC service or CABS fingerprint channel
- Arrest and incident records: DPD Identification, Room 416, handles arrest products; DPD Records, Room 420, handles incident reports
- Booking and jail records: contact the Denver Sheriff Department for DDC or County Jail custody records
- Police reports: request the report from the agency that investigated the event
- Record sealing: file through the court that handled the case

DPD Identification and Records are at 1331 Cherokee Street, Rooms 416 and 420. Call 720-913-6755 to obtain an incident case number before mailing Form 241B. For bond or warrant information, the Denver Sheriff Department Bonding and Warrants Division is on the first floor of the Van Cise-Simonet Downtown Detention Center, 490 W. Colfax Avenue, Denver, CO 80204; call 720-337-0062. Its counter runs Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and weekends and city holidays, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
